We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our BDR team based in Barcelona. Plytix is growing fast, and you’ll be right in the middle of it—reaching out to companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile, chatting with people who are genuinely interested, and helping guide them through the buying process. It’s a great way to kick off a career in SaaS sales and be part of something exciting.


What is Plytix?


Plytix is the world's leading Product Information Management (PIM) platform for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Plytix PIM helps companies store and organize product information ranging from descriptions and images to prices, and other specifications, in one place. Essentially, it's a handy tool that makes managing and updating product data a whole lot easier.

If you’re looking to kick off your career in SaaS sales, this role is a great place to start. You’ll become a go-to expert in PIM and work with some of the most interesting up-and-coming brands and retailers out there. No two days are the same, and there’s always something new to learn.


We put a lot of focus on growth and development. You’ll get weekly one-on-ones, regular coaching, and the chance to work with proven sales methods and top tools. It’s all designed to set you up for a future move into an Account Executive role, where you’ll take the lead on deals from start to close.



What will you be doing?


You’ll play a key role in helping Plytix grow. That means reaching out to companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile and connecting with leads who are already curious about what we do. You’ll be the first person they speak with, so you’ll take the time to understand their challenges and show how Plytix can help—without the hard sell.

It’s about being yourself, building trust, and having honest conversations. Because helping people find the right solution matters.


After 1 month:

You’ll get to know the Plytix platform inside and out. Along the way, you’ll even build your own fully working PIM. You’ll learn how we approach sales here through interactive training sessions and real support. From cold calls to sequencing, you’ll focus on building your pipeline and growing your confidence. Before long, you’ll be well on your way to becoming a PIM expert.


After 3 months:

After three months, you’ll have a solid grasp of all things PIM and ecommerce. You’ll understand that everything you do ties back to helping our customers get real value and great support. You’ll be confident in active listening, and your days will be spent engaging and qualifying prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn. You’ll also be booking demo calls for your assigned Account Executives.


6 months in:

By this point, you’ll be a true Plytix ambassador, with solid knowledge of PIM and ecommerce under your belt. You’ll be great at listening, confident in your outreach, and comfortable using tools that help you work smarter. Your days will be filled with prospecting, connecting, and qualifying leads through phone, email, and LinkedIn.

You’ll understand the bigger picture. Every conversation you have helps future customers get the support they deserve. You’ll be meeting your targets and building a strong pipeline for your Account Executives. And most importantly, you’ll see the results of your hard work and enjoy the wins that come with it.


Who will you be working with?


You’ll work closely with our Account Executive and Customer Success teams to help turn customer expectations into real results. From day one, you’ll be paired with a buddy—someone who’s been in your shoes and is there to show you the ropes, answer your questions, and share what’s worked for them. It’s a built-in support system to help you grow with confidence.

At Plytix, we see success as a team effort. Everyone’s invested in helping each other get better. And as you settle in, you’ll also get the chance to collaborate with other teams across the company and learn how it all comes together.


We expect you to have:


  • Native-level of English (any other languages are a plus!)
  • Have sales or prospecting experience (1-2 years minimum)
  • Be coachable and enthusiastic about growing both personally and professionally
  • Be goal-oriented with a strong, proactive mindset
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have a high level of empathy with a natural ability to understand and address client needs
  • Be full of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
  • Be able to quickly build and maintain strong relationships
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Be a strong team player with a warm, friendly personality
  • Be willing to work flexible hours



Nice to have


  • Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus
  • Exposure to prospecting tools like Apollo.io, Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • A dog 🐶 (we love dogs)
