We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Multi-Channel team, responsible for how Plytix helps merchants connect their product catalogs with every sales channel: from ecommerce platforms to marketplaces.
The team’s mission is to make that connection seamless and scalable, by designing native integrations with excellent user experience for platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce, and a flexible, reliable Feed Management experience that enables merchants to easily connect their products to other sales channels and marketplaces such as Amazon, Wayfair, or eBay.
This role sits at the center of Plytix’s mission to make product information management effortless and impactful across every commerce channel.
What is Plytix?
Plytix is mostly known for being the world’s leading Product Information Management (PIM) platform. Plytix helps companies organize and optimize product information and sales channels. In simple terms: we make it easy to manage product data, sell across multiple channels, and drive revenue from content-led growth. All without drowning in spreadsheets.
About our culture
We’re not big on corporate jargon, so we’ll keep it real. We’re a diverse team spread across the This is the part where most companies drop buzzwords like “innovative,” “dynamic,” and “fast-paced.” We’ll pass. What’s the opportunity?
You’ll design the key experiences that power how Plytix connects with ecommerce platforms and marketplaces. Your work will shape how thousands of merchants set up, synchronize, and publish their product data through our Shopify and BigCommerce apps, and how they configure and manage feeds for other sales channels.
You’ll collaborate closely with your Product Manager and Tech Lead to turn complex system interactions (feeds, mappings, and validations) into clear, usable, and elegant experiences.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys designing for SaaS products, integrations, and data-rich environments, and who values clarity, craft, and simplicity in user experience.
What will you be doing?
Own the end-to-end design process for the Multi-Channel experience, from discovery to delivery.
Design and validate new features that improve feed creation, automation, and validation, ensuring a simple and reliable merchant experience.
Create intuitive flows that simplify catalog sync and management across Shopify, BigCommerce, and marketplaces.
Partner with your Product Manager to run user interviews, prototypes, and experiments focused on multichannel workflows.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure high design quality and consistency through implementation.
Maintain and contribute to our Design System, aligning visuals and interactions across products.
Deliver high-fidelity designs, specs, and prototypes ready for development.
After 1 month:
You understand Plytix’s design system, product principles, and how our integrations with Shopify, BigCommerce, and feed management currently work. You’ve mapped key flows and friction points in the multi-channel experience.
After 3 months:
You’ve improved usability in part of the Shopify or BigCommerce workflow and contributed to a validated concept for feed configuration or validation.
6 months in:
You’re the design owner for multi-channel publishing, delivering consistent UX improvements and helping shape the next generation of Plytix’s feed management experience.
Who will you be working with?
You’ll work in a dedicated product squad with your Product Manager, Tech Lead, a Product Specialist and engineers, collaborating with Partnerships and Product Marketing when needed. You’ll also contribute to Plytix’s design system and design community, helping maintain high-quality standards across the product.
What do we look for in the ideal candidate:
3+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally SaaS or B2B platforms.
Strong interaction design skills and an ability to simplify complex data-driven systems.
Experience working in product trios and driving discovery and validation loops.
Solid understanding of Figma, component-based systems, and design tokens.
Full professional fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
Nice to have: familiarity with ecommerce, integrations, data visualization, or workflow automation tools.
What's not needed?:
Arrogance and a tech bro attitude
A dog, but it can’t hurt either. Dog people are great.
